To help prepare middle school students to become successful adults by promoting self-esteem, self-confidence and character building through physical activities and life skill presentations that are of critical importance to young people today.

About our program
Teens on the Run is a middle school after school program that meets twice a week. Presently, we are at Black Middle School (HISD).
Each Tuesday and Thursday students meet at the school library at 3:30 p.m.
Students mileage is tracked and are rewarded for the accomplishments.
- 5 Miles –program shirt; 10 Miles - water bottles; 15 miles - running laces/head
- 20 miles - reflective lights; 26 miles Teens on the Run Marathon Finisher Shirt.
Presently, the program ends at 5:00 p.m.
Meet each Tuesdays and Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at school library.
